careful handling
Being photographers ourselves we know the importance of care when handling films and slides, so you can rest assured that your images will be well looked after.
Each image will be treated as a separate job, we do not batch scan and every frame is individually assessed for exposure, colour and sharpness then processed to give you the best scan we can produce.

equipment
35mm and Medium Format scans are produced from the Nikon Coolscan range of dedicated film scanners at the maximum resolution of 4000ppi or lower if required. The software we use for this equipment is Vuescan, which allows us more control than the Nikon supplied driver.
For Large Format and Print scans we use Epson professional scanners.
We operate a fully colour managed workflow with colour profiles using IT8 Targets for the most popular film types and Gretag Macbeth equipment.
