Our terms and conditions page contains information about copyright, however as we feel very strongly about this subject and do not want any misunderstandings we give a full explanation below.

copyright plain and simple
As photographers ourselves we know how much effort can go into producing a quality image, this also applies to areas such as other arts and design, writing etc.
If we feel that there has been any infringement of copyright we will inform the copyright holder.
sending material to us
Anyone supplying images or any other material to PicWorks is responsible for obtaining all permissions to reproduce, sell or manipulate any material that is covered by copyright or needs any other form of release.
The supplier shall totally indemnify PicWorks and any of its agents from any claim arising thereof.
material produced by us
The copyright of all images, transparencies and or artwork including digital files supplied by PicWorks remains with PicWorks or its suppliers unless previously agreed in writing.
Usage rights are strictly limited to those as specified in writing by PicWorks at the time of purchase.
If images etc. have been purchased and are then required for another purpose not agreed by PicWorks at the time of purchase, agreement must be sought before any use for that purpose.
Out of respect for the photographers we act on behalf of, we require that any images supplied by PicWorks must whenever possible carry the imprint including the photographers name for example:
