who are we?
Often people like to know who they are dealing with and you can't blame them, after all if you are going to send your treasured images or hard earned money to a business then you want to know that you are in safe and caring hands. To this end we have laid out some information on what we want to achieve in our business.

about me
My name is Kevin Muir and PicWorks is my business. I am a photographer with in excess of 20 years experience. Having gained my Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society some years ago I still aim to further my qualification by submitting a panel for the 'Associateship' of the RPS when time permits. Being awarded a Distinction of the Royal Photographic Society gives photographers the satisfaction of knowing that the quality of their work is recognised by the best in the field.
Around 1990 I struck up an alliance with a major London postcard producer. Dealing with customers and supplying images, here I entered the design field. The customer base expanded to include photographers, souvenir companies, hotels, B&Bs, to list just a few.
Out of work my interest in photography has never slowed, I was a long-term member of 'Welwyn Garden City Photographic Club', serving as a committee member for a number of years. My commitment to helping people is important to me, which is why I will be including a forum on this site where anyone who has an interest in photography and related subjects can post a question. From here clubs and individuals can subscribe to a newsletter aimed at furthering peoples enjoyment of photography.
Pennie (my wife) and I now live in Pembrokeshire where we enjoy a quieter pace of life with an abundance of beautiful coastal scenery to photograph. Pennie is also an accomplished photographer whose work can be seen on her website Pennie's Gallery.

If we can't help straight away we will come back to you with an answer. If we don't know the problem we can't help!
We also take pride in the quality of our work that we produce for you. When we buy from a company we want high quality products and services and we are sure you expect the same. So we will ensure that what we produce for you fits this criterion, if it doesn't (after we are only human) please let us know and we will do what is necessary to ensure that you are happy.
Of course we would also be pleased if you can let us know if you are satisfied with the quality you receive, feedback is essential for a business to maintain and improve its standards.
